The ADX Trend Volume Indicator combines Directional Movement Index (DMI) and ADX to color the price bars according to market trends. When the indicator detects a strong bullish trend, the bars turn violet, and when it detects a strong bearish trend, they turn gray. If there is no clear trend, the bars are colored dark red. In addition, the indicator highlights moments of strong volume activity, giving you visual cues when volume spikes exceed the average by a specified percentage. This indicator also includes customizable alert options to notify you when key trend and volume conditions are met.

ADX Trend Volume leverages the Directional Movement Index (DMI) and ADX (Average Directional Index) along with volume analysis

Key Features:

DMI/ADX-Based Trend Coloring:
- calculates the ADX and DMI (DI+ and DI-) indicators based on a user-defined period.
- sets price bar colors to represent the trend:
  - Violet when DI+ is greater than DI- and the ADX is above a threshold, indicating a strong bullish trend.
  - Gray when DI- is greater than DI+ and ADX is above the threshold, indicating a strong bearish trend.
  - Dark Red when neither condition is met, representing a neutral or weak trend.
Volume Strength Filter:
- calculates the average volume over a user-defined length and compares the current volume to this average.
- If the volume exceeds the average by a certain percentage, and either a bullish or bearish trend condition is met, it plots points on the chart at the average of the high and low prices.
Alert System:
- option to enable alerts when the conditions for trend or volume strength are met.
Customizability:
- Users can customize the DMI period, ADX threshold, volume averaging period, volume percentage threshold, and whether or not to display volume strength when the trend is neutral.
